World Mental Health Day was celebrated at Mohmand International 200-bed Hospital Mr. Haji Muhammad Sadiq Mohmand, Chairman of Mohmand International 200-Bed Hospital, Deputy Directors of the hospital, Medical Director of the hospital, specialists of mental and neurological department, administrative personnel and specialists of different departments participated in the meeting held in this regard. In the meeting, the importance of this day was discussed and information related to the past achievements and new developments of the psychiatry department was presented. October 10th is International Mental Health Day, this day is celebrated in many countries, the purpose of celebrating this day is to raise awareness about mental health issues at the international level and to attract support for the improvement of mental health. Mental illness affects a person's professional and social life and causes disability. Along with genetic and biological factors, social problems (wars, migrations, displacement, poverty, lack of work and jobs, bad economic, injustice, discrimination, torture and domestic violence) are among the main causes of mental illnesses.

World Pharmacist Day was celebrated at Mohmand International 200-bed Hospital! Mr. Haji Muhammad Sadiq Mohmand, Chairman of Mohmand International 200-Bed Hospital, Deputy Directors of the hospital, Medical Director of the hospital, Pharmacy team, administrative personnel and specialists of different departments participated in the meeting held in this regard. The Charmian of MIH, Al-Haj Mohammad Sediq Mohmand, congratulated all pharmacy staff on the occasion of International Pharmacists Day. Along with appreciating the ongoing work of the department, he made important recommendations for better organization in their tasks. Mr. Haji Mohammad Sediq Mohmand said that assistance and cooperation should always be provided to patient and their Attendants, and quality services should be offered to them. At the end of the meeting, the best employees of the pharmacy department were praised, and the meeting concluded with the cutting of a cake. Since 2009, every year September 25th is celebrated as the International Day of Pharmacists.

World Heart Day was celebrated at Mohmand International 200-bed Hospital! Mr. Haji Muhammad Sadiq Mohmand, Chairman of Mohmand International 200-Bed Hospital, Deputy Directors of the hospital, Medical Directors of the Both MIH & MCH hospitals, Intervention Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery team, administrative personnel and specialists of different departments participated in the meeting held in this regard. Participants discussed the importance of the world heart day and information was presented regarding the past achievements and new developments in the Department of Cardiology (Interventional and Surgical). At the cardiology department (interventional and surgical) of Mohmand International 200-bed Hospital, essential treatment is provided to a large number of citizens, and services are prepared there that were not previously available in Afghanistan. The head of the Mohmand International 200-bed hospital, Haji Mohammad Sadiq Mohmand, thanked all the medical and technical staff of the hospital and appreciated their efforts in the relevant areas. He also emphasized the importance of carrying out good and organized work and providing quality services to the patients and their attendants. Mr. Haji Muhammad Sadiq Mohmand said at the end of the meeting that the services of Mohmand International Hospital are for all of Afghanistan and that they strive to provide more quality services for the well-being of the people.
